Description
Street Motion Grading Events take place regularly throughout the year and are a great way of tracking your progress, having a goal to aim for and learning new skills and celebrating your achievements.
- Grade 1 is intended for anyone who has been training for 3 months or more and is suitable for beginners.
- Grade 2 is intended for anyone who has completed Grade 1 and has been training for 6 months or more
- Grade 3 is intended for anyone who has completed Grade 2 and has been training for 9 months or more.
- Grade 4 is intended for anyone who has completed Grade 3 and has been training for 12 months or more.
Price of the grading event includes grade-specific t-shirt and certificate for those who pass. Those who do not complete the grading will be able to have a second attempt at no cost next time. Participants will be assessed on the following skills:
Grade 1 (Level 1)
- Step vault
- Sideways roll (Side Flip Progression)
- Two handed vault
- 10m wall balance (Brick Width, <= 0.5m high)
- Standing jump between two box tops. (Different lengths for different age groups)
- 10 Push-ups
- 10 Leg Raises
- 10 Squats
Grade 2
- Speed vault
- Turn vault
- Running precision jump
- Palm spin
- Forward roll (front flip progression)
- 20 Push-ups
- 20 Leg Raises
- 20 Squats
Grade 3
- Monkey vault
- Overhang climb-up
- Two step vertical wall run
- Downward precision jump
- 5m overhead wall traverse
- 30 Push-ups
- 30 Squats
- 60 Second plank
Grade 4
- Dash vault
- Three step horizontal wall run
- Box jump (back flip progression)
- Parkour roll
- Side flip
- 40 Push-ups
- 40 Squats
- 90 Second plank
