Summer Holiday (Closed Dates)

We are currently closed for a short summer break. When we return on the 15th of August, in addition to our full regular evening and weekend timetable, we will also be running two weeks of daytime summer camps. These can be booked now on our website at https://streetmotion.co.uk/holidaycamps

Please be aware we are unable to turn off the booking system for timetabled classes on our app or website during time, any regular bookings should be made for the week commencing 15th Aug.

Advanced Training Pathway Grading: Level 1 (Grades 1-4)

Description

Sunday 11th September 2022.

Grade 1: 12:00pm – 1:00pm
Grade 2: 1:30pm – 2:30pm
Grade 3: 3:00pm – 4:00pm
Grade 4: 4:30pm – 5:30pm

Street Motion Grading Events take place regularly throughout the year and are a great way of tracking your progress, having a goal to aim for and learning new skills and celebrating your achievements.

Grade 1 is intended for anyone who has been training for 3 months or more and is suitable for beginners.
Grade 2 is intended for anyone who has completed Grade 1 and has been training for 6 months or more
Grade 3 is intended for anyone who has completed Grade 2 and has been training for 9 months or more.
Grade 4 is intended for anyone who has completed Grade 3 and has been training for 12 months or more.

Price of the grading event includes grade-specific t-shirt and certificate for those who pass. Those who do not complete the grading will be able to have a second attempt at no cost next time.

Participants will be assessed on the following skills:

Grade 1 (Level 1)

  1. Step vault
  2. Sideways roll (Side Flip Progression)
  3. Two handed vault
  4. 10m wall balance (Brick Width, <= 0.5m high)
  5. Standing jump between two box tops. (Different lengths for different age groups)
  • 10 Push-ups
  • 10 Leg Raises
  • 10 Squats

Grade 2

  1. Speed vault
  2. Turn vault
  3. Running precision jump
  4. Palm spin
  5. Forward roll (front flip progression)
  • 20 Push-ups
  • 20 Leg Raises
  • 20 Squats

Grade 3

  1. Monkey vault
  2. Overhang climb-up
  3. Two step vertical wall run
  4. Downward precision jump
  5. 5m overhead wall traverse
  • 30 Push-ups
  • 30 Squats
  • 1 Minute Plank

Grade 4

  1. Dash vault
  2. Three step horizontal wall run
  3. Box jump (back flip progression)
  4. Parkour roll
  5. Side flip
  • 40 Push-ups
  • 40 Squats
  • 2 Minute Plank
